Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays plus closure between Christmas and New Year
Our client is a leading UK auctioneer who are looking for a Salesroom Assistant/Porter to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to really make the role their own, there is a lot of variety to the job and no two days are the same!
In the role, the successful candidate will take delivery of a range of goods from antique tables and chairs to paintings, clocks, wine, and locomotives. You will be required to move furniture and other large and heavy items safely. Working closely with specialist departments, the photograph team and directly with customers, you need to be polite, friendly, and proactive.
- Receiving planned and ad hoc deliveries
- Mark up and safe storage of goods
- Follow security and health and safety procedures
- Help customers on sale and viewing days
- Full driving licence essential
- Ability to load and drive a van
- Ability to be proactive and work independently.
