Role: Deal Desk Analyst
Location: Gerrards Cross, Bucks
Salary: £20-27 per hour
CONTRACT ROLE until 31st Dec 2018 (extension possible until March 2019)

Working as part of a team of 5 based across the UK and EMEA you will be responsible for providing pricing and financial construction of perpetual and/or Cloud transactions working with the Sales teams.

The role will focus on high volume, lower total contract value engagements due to a targeted promotion.

You will:

  • Support key tactical sales plays provide a strong foundation for an analyst to be positioned for upward mobility.
  • Work with clients as assigned across the Americas, EMEA and APAJ regions
  • Interact with internal teams, auditors and customers, including C-Level, to derive competitive insights
  • Align to customers values and drive maximum lifetime customer revenue outcomes.
  • Work closely with account reps and over time become a knowledge agent for clients key business drivers

The Strategic Deal Desk organisation drives the convergence of various roles and responsibilities (i.e., Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.) to streamline  sales execution motion, drive global consistency and improve margins for the business.

Qualifications (include knowledge, skills, abilities, and related work experience)

  • Strong interest in Complex Deals, Accounting, Finance and Sales
  • Ability to work on many deals simultaneously, driving throughput is a key measurement.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills
  • Desire to thrive in a fast changing, dynamic technology company

Functional/Technical Requirements (include education, certifications, and training)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience supporting a sales organisation in technology company or related complex org
  • Proficiency level of Excel should be Advanced
  • Knowledge or experience of working with Salesforce is a definite benefit
