 Help Desk Administrator   The job description for the position of Helpdesk Administrator is as follows.  
Reporting to: UK Facilities Manager based in Richmond Upon Thames
 
The Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
 
The ability to:

  • ¨ Undertake the administrative Helpdesk role that supports the day to day operation of the PayPal’s UK, Mainland Europe & Middle East Facilities Service.
  • ¨ Assist and support the UK, Mainland Europe & Middle East operations management team.
  • ¨ Support programmes for the Operations Team from an administrative aspect.
  • ¨ Keep Infor Cloud Suite CAFM system up to date
  • ¨ Schedule sub contractor visits and produce sub contractor reports
  • ¨ Liaise with the local office contacts to ensure work has been completed and to a high standard
  • ¨ Support the regional documentation (contract files, and extra works quotation process) in support of the Operations Team.
  • ¨ Provide a professional Helpdesk service to all internal customers.
  • ¨ Assist the Operations Management Team to implement new offices / contracts from a Helpdesk aspect.
  • ¨ Be flexible and confident to make decisions to protect the interests of PayPal’s service business. An example of this would be the rescheduling of Engineers/cleaners etc. to meet a requirement at short notice, whilst ensuring that all clients affected by the decision are communicated to and have the issue explained and service visit rescheduled etc.
  • ¨ Identify shortfalls in service provision to internal customers: providing suitable solutions and ideas to the Facilities Manager to ensure the objectives of the organisation.
  • ¨ Deliver goals and objectives as set by the organisation via the Facilities Manager.
  • ¨ To be positive in approach to customer relations, promote customer care / satisfaction
  • ¨ Make their input count towards the internal customer’s core business needs and requirements.

Hours of work 7.00 am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch and 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on a staggered roster.
