£18,000-£24,000

Are you currently in IT Sales or working as an Internal Sales or Account Manager but feel your role is repetitive and mundane? Do you feel like a small fish in a big pond? If you are motivated, enthusiastic and love building relationships with existing clients but also get a buzz from generating new business then this is the perfect role for you.
  
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

  • To develop and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Handle inbound sales calls, selling proactively to managed customer accounts at every opportunity.
  • Be a product champion providing specialist product knowledge and understanding to clients.
  • Deliver profitability through effective sales and relationship management.

  
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Being the first point of contact for customers calling into the business
  • Provide quotes and responses to queries regarding products, pricing, parts and configuration
  • Following up on sales leads and other business generation activities
  • Supporting internal sales teams with un-allocated accounts
  • Participate in Sales activities focused on generating new business i.e. Marketing Campaigns
  • Promotion of existing and new products with the support of the Product Managers
  • Provide support with responses to tenders and quotations
  • Produce regular forecasting and sales pipeline information to the Sales Director
  • Build strong relationships via regular contact both face to face and over the phone
  • Research the market, competitors and cold call new prospects

  
YOUR SKILLS/PROFILE:

  • The ability to cultivate and maintain excellent relationships.
  • Experience within a Customer Service and Sales environment.
  • Previous outbound and inbound telephone sales experience.
  • Knowledge of IT an advantage, with channel experience a plus.
  • Confident user of MS office and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic sales ability.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, but also able to operate effectively individually.
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner.
