Salary:      £20,000 – £25,000 + bonus, car, phone laptop
Location:  Camberley
Covering SL, RG, OX (Berkshire & Oxfordshire) territory
Our client is one of the largest Materials Handling manufacturers across the world and the market leader across the UK and Europe.  
Due to the expansion of the sales team within the South East region (which covers the direct sales, service and rental division) and to support its continued success, an opportunity has been created for a Trainee Sales Executive. 
Are you a graduate looking to carve a successful career in sales? Or, have you got some experience in Telesales / customer facing role and would like to progress to the next step? 
The role will initially focus specifically on the added value services our client can provide, including short term rentals (STR), service contracts, and training contracts, as well as used equipment.
The role is an introduction into the materials handling industry and will deliver a focused, 1-2 year training programme to ensure the successful candidate develops the skills and approach needed to succeed and progress within the sales organisation. The ability to use initiative, build relationships and work with customers, colleagues and internal/external stakeholders to find the right solution are paramount to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of the short term rental business, other value added services and contribute to the sales of used equipment.
  • Consistently deliver targets set to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Generate and pursue leads for new business through a range of methods including telephone cold calling, area cold calling and mail shots.
  • Develop positive working relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Manage and maintain the company CRM system.
  • Build rapport and work closely with each person involved in the sales function to maximise all possible opportunities.
  • Shadow sales team members regularly to learn and develop selling skills and understand the key selling philosophies of the company.
  • Actively engage in continuous training and development programmes.
  • Attend trade shows to represent the value of the organisation within the market.
