This role offers a great opportunity to work for an ambitious and detail orientated individual to join a local IT Support company at a point of growth.

You will have the change to support companies of all shapes and sizes ranging from Not for profit organisations to large corporate and start up businesses.

This company prides itself on “taking the pain away” from its customers and has a proven ability to provide realistic and efficient solutions for their clients.

Joining a friendly support team, and reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for assisting customers with IT support related issues (primarily inbound) as well as day to day support tasks which will include monitoring and backup checks; builds for customer orders, and managing the support ticket queue.

Daily responsibilities (not exhaustive list):

  • Ensuring that the service desk meets it’s SLA requirements
  • Providing technical support on new and existing support cases
  • Logging new support calls accurately when received (phone or email)
  • Updating the support system with information and timesheet details
  • Responding quickly to alerts from automated systems that monitor both customer and company hosted IT infrastructure
Technical ability/knowledge/experience:

  • Windows Server 2003 to 2016
  • Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2016
  • Office 365 administration
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP
  • Windows XP, 7, 8 and 10
  • Mac OSx
  • Mobile Devices (iPhone/Blackberry)
  • Any SharePoint experience would be a bonus
  • A qualification such as Comp TIA would be advantageous but not essential
